How it all works We have a professional body corporate manager, Ernst Body Corporate Management (EBCM). Duties of the body corporate management include sending notices of meetings, collection of levies, electricity accounts/billing, paying accounts and monitoring expenditure against budgets, arranging insurance and attending to claims, among other things. Vince and Sophie Lin are the managers who attend to day to day matters and liaise with EBCM and the Body Corporate.  In their absence they will arrange for a relief manager. The Macleay Body Corporate operates through a committee, which is elected each year. (see Contact information for a list of members of the committee).   Skills in the tower It makes sense for us to know what skills are available within the tower. For instance, Macleay’s insurance is handled by Mr Tony Purser, a resident in the tower, who’s a representative for Austcover. It makes sense to talk to him about meshing your insurance with that of Macleay — filling in the gaps, as it were. There must be others in the tower. Are you one? Contact the Manager if you’d like to be included on the list.   Our Village This section will deal with residents helping each other. We could have our own bowls club, or golf, or something else. Go here to see recommendations by owners.   Bylaws A suite of bylaws controls the operation of the body corporate and provides guidelines so that owners and residents can have peaceful enjoyment of Macleay.
