There was great food and company at the Macleay 2023 Christmas party. It was an opportunity to meet new faces and catch-up with the regulars while sharing drinks and canapes. Another opportunity for Macleay residents to get together, chat, socialise and be part of the vertical village that is the Macleay. We introduced new residents and mingled with the regulars.

Macleay Tower and Villas turns 25 years young!! So, it’s residents and owners had a party to celebrate Macleay’s coming of age. Lots of fun was had and speeches made, reinforcing the great sense of community that exists within our wonderful Vertical Village, in the heart of Kangaroo Point. A key topic of conversation, particularly from the many long-term residents present, was how the Macleay and the Dockside area, was still a wonderful place to live, offering a truly urban lifestyle. A good time was had by one and all.

Hopefully 2023 will see the resumption of our quarterly social get togethers on a regularly basis while we learn to live with the ‘new covid normal’. What a lovely evening! It was great to be finally allowed to get together again. Our social events are an important part of building a sense of community in our vertical village. With all of the Covid lockdowns it has been 2 years since our last social get together and there were many new faces and plenty of regulars to catch up with. Jan and her team did a great job organising and tending the bar. Hopefully 2022 will see a return to some sort of normality and the resumption of our quarterly social get togethers.
