FERRY

We have three ferry stops on the point.

On the eastern side, accessed via the boardwalk, is Kangaroo Point Ferry stop. From here you can cross the river to New Farm or stay onboard for the complete route Sydney Street to North Quay. This ferry stops at the city en-route and runs every 1/2 hour. These red and white ‘city hoppers’ are FREE.

On the western side you’ll find Holman Street and Thornton Street Ferry stops. These go directly to Eagle Street Pier in a constant triangle so you will wait no longer than 10mins for a ferry.  These are usually paid ferries and accept cash only or Go Card.

BUS

The main bus stop is on Baildon Street just opposite the Storey Bridge Hotel. The 234 bus goes to Queen Street in the City via the Storey Bridge and down to Wolloongabba via  Main Street in the other direction.  It operates at least hourly and more often during the peak hour.

There is also a southbound bus stop on Main Street, just opposite Ferry Street and a northbound stop, opposite the St Vincent’s Hospital.

Check out the timetable at the Translink website or at the bus station.  Payment is via cash or Go Card.
